What is it?
Anthracnose is a fungal disease that causes leaf damage in ash, oak, maple and sycamore trees. Leaves curl often turning black or brown.
How do we treat it?
We use a proprietary blend of fungicides to treat the disease. We typically perform this in early spring to protect foliage for the growing season.
What to look for
- Irregular leaf drop
- Blotchy leafs
- Leaf Blight and canker
- Spore driven infection
- Wet periods accelerate spread of the disease
- Black pimples from the prior year re-infect the tree the following year
