Essential Fall & Winter Tree Care

 

Follow this checklist to prepare your trees for the fall and winter!

 

Inspect all your trees and shrubs for existing insect activity or disease.

Prune and shape your trees and shrubs to help decrease damage from disease and insects.

Fertilize. A deep root fertilizer provides nutrients to the trees and shrubs to prepare them for next years growing season.

Remove any dead wood or weak limbs. Cable or brace to support or reduce the risk of structure failure.

Water all trees and shrubs regularly until ground freezes to ensure they are hydrated before the freezing temperatures are upon us.
